Cloudbusting

The Glory Hole
The latest image for Cloudbusting. I had two different photographic references to base this on, and I illustrated this one unsure whether it was the right one - the other image was visually more appealing. It included the iron spiral staircase the other side of High Bridge cafe.
I was tempted to directly reference the first images from Eric Drooker's Flood, where the protagonist emerges from a subway into a rainy New York, but obviously, Cloudbusting is set in Lincoln, and to locate it here, I chose The Glory Hole for its similarity. For Cloudbusting, this image works well with the drainpipes as a visual device. At this stage, the female protagonist is about to return to the lab, her professor colleague, and the Cloudbuster.
