Ms Blackbird's Self Care Art Workshop Sage Gardener

I undertook an inaugural workshop with the lovely Sage Gardener out of the city centre, in the lovely garden and woodland setting, with a small group of ex carers.

There is a bird hide currently still in the construction stages, which is ideal for Bird Therapy and observation, as we didn't spot very many birds present, they were scared away by us!

Observing and looking for birds for a woodland walk.

These ceramic doves were probably the only birds we could actually see, although we heard a pigeon and some chirping, possibly a robin and other songbirds.

Creating, drawing and chatting! This group had to imagine some birds, and some great drawing skills emerging.

Finished drawings!

The group enjoyed the session, and would probably appreciate more sessions, but feedback is that they wouldn't be in a position to pay the costs, so funding would be required and sought.
Thanks to Jane, Isla, and all the fab participants for having me!

If you have a group, and either have funding available, or can afford the costs, it greatly improves my wellbeing to be able to continue to work whilst supporting others in this way.

The next workshop is at Decimal Place.
